DRASTIC
NEW RELEASES

This is the of Drastic
His name aligns with some of the stark realities of the city that has always been his home – he is Drastic. For some, it
comes across as harsh, but for others willing to deliberate a little further, it seems representative of the life experience of
an African American man living in the infamous zip code of 53206. So, what has his 39 years thus far been like? As is
true of ALL of us, his time here has been shaped by a number of statistics, but none of them showcase the entirety of his
essence – his presence and rising prominence is evident. Here’s just a small glimpse into the making of this real emcee…
David Lavester Rhodes was born on December 7, 1983 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Beverly Rhodes and David Reynolds.
His mother, who will become the namesake for his musical collaboration with his only sibling, older brother Jevoni J. Billa
Rhodes, described him as an alert, aware, and perceptive baby and toddler.

He is driven to achieve for the benefit of his greatest life accomplishment - his darling Kailani! If you choose to evaluate him by his “numbers” (after all, this IS America), here are a few of them to remember beyond his five bids:

- ● 300 : the number of college credits he intends to earn
- ● 300: total number of songs he’s dropped so far

His life has made him who he is - Drastic - a poet, writer, engineer, producer, executive director, short film creator, and, ultimately, an entertainer.
